DARK SOULS by LeSam DARK SOULS by LeSam
VICTORY ACHIEVED!

I just finished Dark Souls yesterday, and what a game it was! I really, really enjoyed it - you should give it a try if you haven't yet.

Anyways, while drawing this I watched that speedrun of someone completing the game in an hour and was like :stare: dude, it took me 80 hours...

Based on the trailer : [link]

This gesture was inspiring for me whilst watching the trailer. Often, when trying to swallow any fear, this simple action came to mind. As if to say that all will be well.

I like the use of shadows on the knight's armour; they work especially well with the embers, to give that impression of the fire behind his back.
One thing I'd have liked for this picture would have been a more discernable destination in the background. Like a door, or an arch of pure shadow underneath. I know this is following the trailer, but it's still hard to see from here.

Very impressive dude. :) It's quite understandable that you're a busy person and thus don't always have the time to go the extra mile on your work. But whenever you do, it really pays off from a visually appealing standpoint. Impressive lighting that really helps to make your bold cartoonish style stand out all the more. Likin' the back-to-the-viewer pose on this one too.

Keep it up!
